Migrate Design In The News

June 28th, 2010

Our local newspaper and radio station are talking about Migrate Design! The Art Stop Project has conveyed lots of interest within our local community. We took part in this project by submitting two of our photos, and both were chosen. The Signal and KHTS are listing the 8 artists that got selected.

There is a tremendous amount of talent in this city and the selected artworks truly show that the arts are alive in our community.

Migrate Design is honored to have been chosen by the city of Santa Clarita, to help promote the Street Art Festival.

The city of Santa Clarita Arts and Events Office (AEO) and the Santa Clarita Arts Commission sought to commission ten artworks to express the theme “A Fresh Look“. In the month of September, our photos will be featured in transit bus shelters throughout the city of Santa Clarita. See You Soon Art Pilots!

May 17th, 2010

Today was our last session of Art Pilots. This new program between Newhall Elementary School and CalArts was so successful, we decided to bring it back next year.
CalArts turned it into an official class for their students, who will get credits for teaching visual art to the kids of Newhall Elementary.
This is only the beginning of a long relationship. The overall popularity of the program was gratifying, and we’re expecting it to grow substantially next year.

Stay tuned for further updates.

Fun Designs Sell Better

April 20th, 2010

Whether you own a fun arcade game store or a highly corporate accounting business, remember one thing: “fun designs sell better“. Graphic design is a powerful communication and visual medium. It often includes typography, visual arts and page layout techniques, to produce a final product.

Graphic design is everywhere, and it is extremely easy to get lost in this massive visual invasion. One way to differentiate yourself and your brand is to bring fun into the final product. Fun increases brand recall more than any other style or emotion. A fun design can’t be silly or reckless; it needs to be clever and appropriate in order to work its best. It requires a great amount of research and creativity. If done right, it will stand out of the masses. People will remember your design better because of the happy feeling they felt when they saw it. They will share it to friends and family via email and social networks.

Migrate Design can help you create a fun design for your business graphical needs. Call us at 661 644 6518, or email us, and we will show you how happy our designs can be ; )
